ClinkShot

Weduploader alternative

The WedUploader alternative that does not need your Google Drive

WedUploader sends every guest upload straight into your Google Drive, with no upload cap on its free plan. ClinkShot hosts the gallery itself, so there is no Google account to connect — and the shared gallery, live wall and voice guestbook are free.

WedUploader's free plan is genuinely generous on volume, and it is fair to start there. As listed on its pricing page on 24 October 2026, the basic plan takes unlimited photo and video uploads in original quality from unlimited guests, into unlimited albums that never expire. The catch is where the files go: straight into the organizer's Google Drive, so the real ceiling is Google's free 15 GB and you sign in with Google to use it.

The features guests notice are on the one-time $39 upgrade: the real-time shared gallery, voicemails, the fullscreen slideshow and choosing which photos are shown. ClinkShot flips that split. It keeps 50 uploads on the free plan, stores them itself, and includes the shared gallery, live wall, moderation and voice messages from the start. If the party will produce more than 50 photos, Pro lifts the cap with one payment, and the files still never touch your personal cloud storage.

Updated 24 October 2026

If your priority is keeping every original file in storage you already own, WedUploader is a sensible pick — the files land in your Drive and stay there. The trade-off is that you manage the space yourself: when the Drive fills up, its FAQ suggests downloading and deleting, or buying more Google storage.

ClinkShot is for organizers who would rather not connect a personal Google account to a party. Guests scan a QR code and upload in the browser, and everything sits in one gallery you can moderate, put on a screen and download as a ZIP. On the free plan uploads stay open 30 days and the gallery is kept 90 days; Pro is $49 once for unlimited uploads, video and a full year.
