Wedibox vs guestpix

Wedibox vs GuestPix: same 50 free uploads, different trade-offs

Both give you 50 free guest uploads with no app for guests. GuestPix's free plan adds a slideshow and a written guestbook; Wedibox keeps those for its $49 Wedding plan and bundles a wedding website instead.

On the free plans the headline number is identical — 50 guest uploads each — so the choice comes from what surrounds it. GuestPix's free tier, checked on 24 October 2026, keeps uploads open for 30 days, shows a slideshow, includes a written guestbook and digital invitations with RSVP, but takes no video. Wedibox's free tier adds scavenger-hunt challenges and co-organizer access, while its slideshow, audio guestbook and original-quality ZIP start on the paid Wedding plan.

Paying changes the comparison. Wedibox Wedding costs $49 once and gives a six-month upload window, a year of storage, unlimited uploads and a wedding website; All-In-One at $79 adds RSVP and a seating chart. GuestPix's wedding plans cost $49, $89 and $119 once, each with unlimited photos and videos and moderation. Wedibox also promises a full refund within 14 days on its paid plans.

Updated 24 October 2026

Wedibox started as a wedding suite and its pricing shows it: the free plan is a small private gallery, and everything a couple would show off — the live slideshow, voice messages, the downloadable ZIP — sits behind one $49 payment that also brings a wedding website. GuestPix puts more into the free tier itself, including the slideshow and invitations, and saves video and longer windows for its paid levels.

If you want to know what free really buys, GuestPix is the more complete zero-cost option of these two. If you were going to pay anyway and also need a wedding website, Wedibox's $49 bundle is hard to argue with. ClinkShot is a third route: 50 free uploads with moderation, a live photo wall, a voice guestbook and the full ZIP included, uploads open 30 days and the gallery kept 90.

Frequently asked questions

Which free plan is better, Wedibox or GuestPix?

GuestPix's, if you compare only the free tiers: both allow 50 uploads, but GuestPix adds a slideshow, a written guestbook and a ZIP download, which Wedibox reserves for its $49 plan. Checked on 24 October 2026.

Which one is cheaper to upgrade?

GuestPix lists a $39 tier; Wedibox starts at $29 for a gallery embedded in your own website and $49 for the full Wedding plan. Compare what each tier unlocks — video, upload window and storage — rather than the entry price alone.

Do guests need an app for either?

No. Both work from a QR code in the phone browser, and so does ClinkShot.
